Borrowing Resources during Clerkships and Placements

Learners can continue to borrow Health Sciences Library resources during off-campus placements and clerkships.  Simply send us an email to askthelibrary@nosm.ca with specific details about the resource you'd like to borrow including title, author, and call number. Library staff will contact you regarding the resource and arrange for shipping to your community.

Lakehead and Laurentian Students, Faculty and Staff

In order to access the library’s e-resources, you must login through either the Lakehead University Library or the Laurentian University Library websites first.

For further information about library services and resources or our affiliated university libraries, please contact askthelibrary@nosm.ca

Accessing NOSM Resources Off-Campus

In order to access any of the Library’s licensed resources from off-campus, you will be prompted to enter a NOSM username and password upon selecting the resource.

This is issued to all faculty, residents, learners & staff of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. This is the same information used to access MyNOSM and WebAdvisor. For additional assistance, consult the Library's e-Resources FAQ.
