Book chapters and articles

Users working off-campus due to the ongoing pandemic can request specific readings from the library's print collection for individual use. Requests are filled based on Canadian Copyright Act and fair dealing criteria.  Note that requests for multiple chapters from a single resource may exceed the allowable limits.

To request a scanned copy of an individual reading, complete the online form.  Requests will be filled within 3 business days.

Pending review, requestors are provided with a PDF of the reading and a terms for use statement. The statement outlines restrictions for sharing the scanned document by the requestor, based on the Canadian Copyright Act and fair dealing guidelines.
