Family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. It is a specialty in breadth that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral sciences. Family Medicine at NOSM University is truly pan-Northern experience. Based on a well developed infrastructure and academic excellence, it is a program for physicians seeking a unique and challenging experience. Residents learn in a wide range of clinical settings under the supervision of practising family physicians, specialist physicians and other members of the allied health care team who are committed to patient care and medical education.
