Treaties Recognition Week

Each year Treaties Recognition Week takes place in Ontario the first week of November. 

In 2016, the week was introduce to recognize the importance of treaties, to increase awareness of treaty relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Ontario Communities, and help Ontarians learn more about treaty rights and relationships.
