We joined Project ECHO - Chronic Pain and Opioid Stewardship. ECHO stands for Extensions for Community Healthcare Outcomes. ECHO increases Primary Care Providers' (PCP) skills and confidence in managing specific complex chronic conditions through weekly case-based learning video-conference sessions. These sessions meet the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the CEPD Office for up to 1.5 Mainpro+ credits. This ECHO team is one of 13 ECHO hubs in Ontario, with multidisciplinary members. The Librarian addresses any information needs that arise during a session, contributes to the discussion board, and suggests open access resources to support the cases and didactic presentations.

Presented a 60 minute session at the Huntsville Medical Teaching conference. Outlined the resources and services available to NOSM faculty, with specific emphasis on the suite of research support services. Also included a booth during the workshop that enabled 1:1 consults.
