"The Health Sciences Library is pleased to provide a Copyright Consultation Service that will offer guidance and support with questions relating to copyright. A librarian can help you:

  • Determine what you can or can’t do with a copyright protected item.
  • Figure out if you need to request copyright permission.
  • Determine who a copyright holder is so that you can request permission to use a particular resource/item.
  • Craft a permission request to a copyright holder.

For assistance with your copyright queries send an email to askthelibrary@nosm.ca. In your email please include: Your name. Phone number. Description/explanation of your copyright issue. A librarian will be in touch with you to offer copyright assistance upon receipt of your request."
